If you get a chance to visit London, England, you must take a day trip to Bath. It is 1.5 hours from London by train, about a 97 mile (or 156 kilometre) journey. Once the home of celebrated author, Jane Austen, Bath is primarily famous for its roman-built baths. Completed in 76 A.D., these baths are still being fed by natural spring water. It is a World Heritage Site and very much worth the trip. The entire town seems to be lost in time, which is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of modern-day cities!
